I love the fact this blog is so uplifting, I am so pleased you have started it, and avidly follow Backwards in High Heels. I use it as surrogate dogness as my other half refuses to get one and I love dogs. (I am working on him.... and he is not all bad) Pigeon reminds me off my Granny's dog Dougal who was a cross between a pointer and a lab. He had wonderful silky ears too and was very majestic in his own way. So enjoy your writing. Don't often leave comments but felt I should although I know I am rambling. I do hope things are getting a little bit less tricky for you.
Anon - what a lovely comment; thank you. Dougal sounds heaven. The Pigeon's silky ears are a slight obsession with me. She is collie lab cross, but pointer lab sounds delightful. And Dougal is such a great name for a dog.
